Overview

To celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Westwalls Brewery, I designed a limited-edition can concept that blends local pride with a bold, collectible aesthetic. Inspired by playing card designs, I created an "Ace of Westwalls" theme, using a symmetrical layout and detailed illustration to give the can a strong visual presence.

To tie in local heritage, I incorporated animals from traditional Cumbrian heraldry, giving each element a modern twist while honouring the region’s identity. The result is a striking, characterful design that feels both celebratory and rooted in place—perfect for marking a special milestone in the brewery’s journey.
